We are very impressed with Vanguard Spruce Grove. Always friendly, professional staff. They provide an excellent venue for young athletes to develop in a safe, low stress environment. The reception my kids have recieved, at the two Grapple Fest events they've attended, have them wanting to come back!

My 7-year-old son has been attending Elite Martial Arts' Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program for the past few months, and I'm very impressed with how welcoming and positive the environment is. What stands out is the quality of instruction: The instructors are incredibly attentive and caring, providing each student with the support they need to grow, in both skill and confidence.
I highly recommend.

I have been practicing Judo for over 39 years and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for 28 years, holding a 5th-degree black belt in Judo and a 4th-degree black belt in BJJ. Over the years, I’ve trained in many dojos, but the Elite Martial Arts in Spruce Grove stands out as something truly special. The welcoming environment makes you feel like part of a genuine family. The instructors are highly dedicated, and every session reinforces my joy for practicing martial arts. It’s clear that the core values and mission of martial arts are deeply respected here. My 8 year old started classes here during the summer and loves it! The staff are excellent and the facility has a great family atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking to check out jiu jitsu.

I joined this club post-Covid after a long-distance move. It's been great!
Professor Rodrigo has built an incredible team of students who have learned high-level technique from the exceptionally friendly instructors.
A few months ago my son joined the academy as well and he has been having a blast! It is a terrific way for the children to make friends, while being physically active, learning self-defence and discipline.
The facility is very spacious and well-kept and the weight-training equipment is quite modern.
This is an excellent place to learn Jiu Jitsu!

An excellent centre to learn grappling from Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo and no gi grappling. Professor Rodrigo Resende holds a 5th degree black belt in BJJ and 6th degree in judo with multiple years of experience in nogi grappling in a state of the art training facility

I have experienced significant growth in Judo and BJJ under Professor Resende and his instructors. The dojo has great energy, all participants and instructors are very respectful towards each other. I strongly recommend this dojo to even older practitioners, who are looking for a safe and respectful place to train in. All the instructors are very knowledgeable with an incredible way to teach any level or any age group. Thank you Professor.
